Adrian
Adrian has traveled to Southeast Asia and Asia in pursuit of travel, learning, and adventure from a young age. When in these countries, he grew curious of the different cultures, customs, traditions, and ceremonies associated with drinking tea. He felt that there seemed to be a deeper sense of appreciation for tea as a part of one's life and Adrian began to develop this himself. After witnessing how much of an impact that larger corporations have on the industry, Adrian felt it was his mission to pursue the highest qualities teas; which seemed to be forgotten in the west in favour of tea bags and bland convenience. He also saw an opportunity to make an impact on people's lives and hence decided it would be his goal to ethically, sustainably, and environmentally source teas for consumption around the world. Bringing quality to the world in the right way.
Jessica
Jessica is an Impact Entrepreneur who founded, built, and managed an internationally trading tea company based in South Africa. She has traveled extensively to East and South-East Asia over the last decade in pursuit of sourcing and learning about sustainable and traditional teas. Working with farmers and producers that maintain inherently ethical value systems when it comes to the growing, production, and processing methods of tea has been her core focus. As a Philosophy Major, she has spent her tea years studying with Masters, Monks, and producers to understand the ancient practice of tea.
Elliot
Elliot is a Photographer and Software Engineer with a passion for the environment. He has traveled across the Pacific and South-East Asia to discover more about the world around us; and has always focused on spending time in nature and the community, rather than corporate tourism. As an Englishman, Elliot unexpectedly grew tired of mass-produced teabags quickly, and was frustrated with the lack of accessible high-quality tea with a low environmental footprint. However after meeting Adrian, he was introduced to ethical and quality tea, and vowed to assist Adrian in bringing it to the wider population.
He shares his photography journey through his portfolio, 35mm.one.
