This Sheng Puerh tea comes from a small village in the Yunnan Province called Mun Hsing Loong, meaning "Big Lion Village". It is situated between Lao Man Err and Lao Ban Zhang, the most famous village for Puerh tea. The indigenous and ancient Bulang tribe living there have been making tea from ancient trees long before their village was discovered.
All the teas growing in that area grow in yellow soil, and are part of a greater forest. The environment is pristine. This transfers into a sweet, fruity and thick taste that is very refreshing.
The 200-year old trees are the same bitter varietal found in Lao Man Err, however, the teas produced lack any bitter notes. Drinking this tea energises and elevates one's mind. The brewed tea is sweet and fruity, with a thick yet smooth feel.
